The Beginning The Harrington were a very affluent family. The mother Victoria was involved in her husbands work and other community acttivies. He Richard was a high-powered businessman who had his ups and downs through out his business life. They had one daughter Georgina, known to one and all as Georgie. Georgie modeled while in high school. Then went on to become an architect. She never married. Georgie died in an airplane accident on her way home from visiting Val and Mike for a birthday-anniversary party at their home in Paris. It was later that they learned that she had a child, Chelsea, by one of the two lovers in her life. A blood test was given and James Dean; not Wayne Jennerson, was found to be the father, just as Georgie had said.
