no date: Singer Retires- Shelby McKay announced her retirement for public singing engagements last night. It all happened during her record setting sell out performance at the newly opened Winger Performing Arts Center.
It was a magnificent performance, with all the suspense and drama her audiences have come to expect. For Two hours she gave us her heart and sole. Then, during the concerts last half hour she shared her news. It was as if she were speaking to family members when she announced that she was pregnant and that this would be her last public performance for at least a year. Then she sang the last song of the night and disappeared.
