Mer: True it was more than enough information, but it wasn't my business anymore than who I'd been with was his. The family part was something I thought he might have looked into first though. I didn't know what to say to him, the idea of him sleeping with his cousin was as I told him-- 'Just a little bit too much BJ.'

BJ: Mer, it's not like I knew that at the time.
Mer: I understand, stuff happens, I took his hand into mine when I said it, I wanted him to know that I meant it. So you got to hold the baby, Marilyn?

BJ: She is so small and it felt so good to hold her. Have you ever looked at a baby and thought about all the bits of people that are involved in making the real thing? Do you know what I am saying?

Mer: Babies are amazing little things. I thought back to when the quads were born, and smiled.

BJ. It just amazes me that something so small can turn out to be so important.
