Eagle : It was 2405 I called Ell and she actually came to the house, the next day. I took her into the studio we had built last year and showed her around. I offered her juice, she turned me down. She wanted something hard,like usual, she told me. I played for her the music I had been working on and she was truly surprised . It is superior work Eagle and it has your signature sound and style. She stopped and I said BUT! But it's about children, wife, home, happiness!
I'm not sure it will work for you . Listen Ell it's not like my fan base is mostly women or men or anything. There has never been a certain age group! Ell, are you alright? I watched as she helped herself to a full glass of whiskey, straight up and drank half of it. She grabbed her throat and I guessed that it had burned on the way down. I thought to myself that it was a good sign, it meant that this was not her usual behavior. Ok, I said lets forget the album. Lets just sit over here for a while. She let me lead her to the sofa and she sat quietly. I took a seat in the chair near the sofa and asked, does this have anything to do with Rudy? No! I think you should have him listen to it. He is very good at -all of this. We 've had an up hill battle putting everything back together. I stopped her what are you talking about I asked you never said anything to me about trouble. Not really just the usual garbage you have always handed me when I wanted time off. She told me to talk to Rudy about it, she was in no condition to talk sense right now. There were things she needed to do though ... I didn't catch the rest of it because she laid herself down and slept. This did not make sense to me. I took a blanket from the foot stool and covered her with it. Then I put a call into Rudy and asked that he come over when he could . I let him know that Ell was here, so that he wouldn't worry. He hadn't been there when I called. I wondered, would he wonder where she was? I wouldn't be finding anything out from her any time soon. I called up to the house and let Mari know what happened with Ell and asked her what I should do? Did Mari think it would be alright to just leave Ell here and lock up? I didn't know.

Mari: No, don't leave her down there. Who knows what may be going on! Eagle was telling me that Ell had just gone to sleep on the sofa in our new recording studio, I called Dad again, told his answering service that they had better put me through, or else there might be trouble. When I finally got him on the phone, I told him he needed to come down here. Ell is sleeping in our new studio, Eagle will need some help bringing her up to the guest house, and then we need to talk.

Rudy: I got over there as fast as I could, I didn't know what was going on with her even, and it just wasn't like her to do that. I worried that she had found some information and not told me about it, or even worse. I got there, and as Marijuana ordered Eagle and I brought her up to a bed where she could continue sleeping. I picked up her briefcase, and looked to see if there was something in there that might explain things.

Eagle: She isn't as heavy as I thought, I said to the room at large. What are you doing Rudy? Do you two share everything? I asked?
Rudy: I didn't know what to say, so I went with the truth. Eagle, I thought we did, but remember how I told you we were having some security issues? Ell seems to have just clammed up entirely like everyone else was doing a couple of years ago. I couldn't find anything I hadn't seen already, and I was fed up with the whole 'agent' business.

Eagle: I don't think this had anything to do with business Rudy, I told him. I think it's personal. Ell doesn't act like this about business!

Rudy: She doesn't act like this at all Eagle, about anything!

Eagle: We'll have to wait until later to hear about that. In the mean time would you like to hear what I've been working on? Just then the children attacked. They had heard us . Grandpa! were the shouts as they ran into the room.

Eagle: All right everyone, let him breath would you. We gave them an hour, then I dragged Rudy out to the studio to listen to my new cuts and see what he thought. I told him what Ell had said about them,after he had a chance to listen to them himself. Tell me, I said.

Rudy: This is phenomenal, your fans may have an issue with it, but not enough of one to cause problems.
Eagle: I thought it was, though I wasn't sure about my fans.
Thanks for listening. Will you be staying over , I don't think ELL will be up until then? We can both grill her. She'll have to come clean!
Rudy: Now that sounds like a plan, I laughed, and we returned to the house, and my grandkids, and sat down to tell them some stories.
Ell: I woke up and didn't know where I was. I looked around and nothing was familiar. I wanted to scream and did. I would never servive if I was in a dangerous situation and I knew it . Most people would have tried to quietly escape . Stupid me,I sat screaming. People came running in and I knew them. I must be at Eagle's -yes , it was Mari was there and the kids peeking from behind adults. I covered my head with the blankets !
