What I needed was a Po'Em. No such luck. It was the weekend and I went to the Whale as usual. Hennesy hooked me up with a high stakes porker game. I got there early and claimed my seat. I had everything I would need and was preparing to enter my groove, when another player entered the room. She was wearing the emerald earrings I'd given her and was it seemed just as cool and composed as any player. She took the seat across from me and I met her gaze. That's when she bolted. For a second I thought to follow, then dismissed it . I came here to play. We played a very long game and at 5 am. the game ended and I was the winner. The chips and money they represented went to wherever ? Into my account. I ordered breakfast to be sent to my room. I stopped for a massage. Then went to my room. I planned to eat, or shower and then nap. The maid handed me a pile of towels and unlocked the door for me , then she wheeled the breakfast tray in too. I thanked her, told her she could have the chips in my pocket. She took them out shook her head no, I shook mine yes. She smiled and left.
I went towels and all into the bath and took a quick shower. Then came out prepared to eat. That's when I stopped dead in my tracks. There was a familiar body lying on my bed. Now what was I going to do... /towel please!
