2335 March 7 When Mercedes arrives destruction is everywhere as she hunts for her brother amongst the shards of broken windows and mirrors in the bedroom. He is holding Cherry's stuffed Gorilla and a razor sharp piece of mirror, contemplating his suicide and or his ability to face life without Cherry. He wonders, was it two or three hours ago now that Cherry had granted him 5 extra minutes before leaving to help George? Cherry had said they had the rest of their lives to be together. George needed her for such a short time but, that short time was the rest of her life!
Eventually Denzel went home with Mercedes.

2337 When Denzel finally starts to come out of it and recover from Cherry's death, it's Kari; Cherry's best friend , that he turns to. They find comfort in each others arms and the healing continues.
