" RADIO" was back home after 6 months on tour. This was to be their vacation time 2 maybe 3 weeks off then they would be leaving again for another 6 months.
Phoenix was just beginning to feel that she was apart of RADIO. It was a wonderful time of discovery for Phoenix, although she had missed Ryan. It was not the heart wretching pain she thought she would feel after being gone this long. She had felt a warmth filling her up when he had met the bus today. Ryan was just as tall and handsome as ever, perhaps a bit more so. He had that golden look the sun bestows upon lifeguards . Ryan had decided he would spend the summer on the beach and then in the fall classes in forestry management. He was considering a position as Park Ranger some where. Phoenix sat Indian style atop her bed , absent mindedly tracing the violets that adorned her comforter, with the tip of her little finger. She wondered if Beau would be right about her losing interest in Ryan with all the other guys clamoring for her attention while on tour. Then in the next moment she new that it had already begun to happen. She was shocked to find how short a time it had taken. She didn't want to be stuck in the life of a Park Ranger. She wondered if it would happen to Angel and Beau again? She could only wonder. They were her friends and she wished only the best for them.
