2391 July 3 Victoria and Franco have their first child, a boy Maximilian Salini. He was born in Texas. Victoria wanted to be with her parents , at home when the baby was born . She would stay there a total of seven months. Three or four before the birth and the rest after. Franco was there the month she had the child and two after. His parents arrived two days after Lion was born. Why Lion? He was born with so much hair it looked like a mane and the word lion was to be found within his name. Franco's parents stayed only a few days, then went on to visit with other friends. They urged Franco to take his family home to Spain as soon as possible. Franco, knowing his wife , lift things as they were and when the seventh month came and Victoria asked only for one more agreed. He wanted his wife whole and happy when she came back. He tried to visit 3 times a week. All at once or spread out , he would be there 3 of seven days, until they came home to Spain. Victoria had given him a son and heir. She had given him everything he had wanted from a marriage. She had been more self confident and independent than he had thought her. Franco had wanted someone he could manipulate at will. Someone who would not question his motives, a token wife. Beautiful well mannered bright wealthy ,with a good name. The only other thing she would have to do would be to give him a son. He would keep his mistress,with whom he was in love.
Victoria ruled the home. She ran it. His mother had taken offence at first, then realized Franco was now the owner and his wife was, in charge. She did not slight his parents or treat them badly. Family was important to her. Meals were served at a certain time and everyone was there, Franco included. In six months Victoria had everything in order. After that she just watched the staff perform their duties from a distance. The staff never knew when she would show up to inspect. She ,however did the ordering and receiving of goods coming and going . The staff ate what they, the family ate and were paid well.
Franco began to find his wife more interesting than his mistress. Therefore she was the one to go not Victoria. Franco found himself drawn to her . She knew his moods and when he needed calm she knew how to make him feel soothed. He was beginning to love her and it annoyed him. He would sometimes ignore her in public,refuse to dance . In those cases ,she needed but to indicate an interest in someone and she would have her dance partner. Someone who was much better at it than Franco. Once she had picked Seth Chandler . His wife Amity didn't seem to mind. If it had been Duncan she would have flirted with him. Franco had been upset about that . She loved Franco but she would never allow him to walk on her.
2392 Franco had stopped calling her Victoria when they were in their privet lives . He called her by her middle name Patrizia . Patrizia was his life, more important to him than air. He had wanted a daughter. Patrizia agreed to give him one. They went away alone together for one month which turned into two.
