Poems:
Death by Dylan
Death is a dark deceiver it promises you peace and calm.
It strikes like a bolt of lightening and sears like a branding iron.
It spreads pain like the ripples a stone makes when tossed into a pond.
Oh death is a great deceiver and the dead ,they have no more pain. But their loved ones are left to suffer like the ripples in the pond...
Why by Dylan
She lay in a pool of her own blood exactly where he left her to die.
He took a knife and he sliced clear through her neck .
She died because she protested and tried to save other lives
She died because of a cause, one she new nothing of.
She lay in a pool of her own blood exactly where he left her to die.
And all we are left to ask is why why why
She lay in a pool of her own blood exactly where he left her to die.
Us Two by Kate Gitano
He smiles at me and I drop my eyes afraid to looking into his.
He cups my chin in his hand and lifts my head hoping to catch the look, the truth in my eyes. His eyes I catch a twinkle and I know he has found the TRUTH I love him!
The Mirror by Sheridan Cassidy
She said smile and everyone will want to be your friend.
She said talk and others will talk to you.
So here I stand before my mirror smiling and It's smiling back.
I talk and she talks too!
The only problem is when I turn and walk out the door she doesn't.
She stays safely there in the mirror and I'm left to face the real world>
