Maxwell Cash, has been in the business of making money since he could crawl. In highschool, he often funded little projects that his friends would create for him. One such incident was the replacement and repairs required after Heat and Doss caused an explosion in the chemistry lab which destroyed a large portion of the science department.
Heat was always up for mixing chemicals, and Doss was a known trouble-maker. The 3 of them caused a lot of damage thoughout the years, Maxwell was more concerned about increasing the size of his bank account rather than joining in on the trouble.

The incident above was created while the 3 were searching for a cure for Heat's illness. It was a hereditary mental thing, and the idea came about after Heat's sister lost it and tried to kill him. Heat was terrified that he may end up the same way, and the explosion was an accident.
