Once upon a time, a girl and her mother became almost obsessed with paper dolls, and these are their attempts at taking those stories, and making sense out of them....

Aiden: So I wrote a few poems, and now I want to write real books. I told dad that I wanted to write a book that would make history more interesting. He didn't get how I was going to do it, but wished me luck. I sat down at my computer, and started talking. My room by the way is bug-proof, there's no way anyone anywhere could figure out what I was saying from that room. I started at the beginning, well of American History that is. What better place to start? Not like the schools here spent a whole lot of time teaching about other worlds. I would call it the History of War and Security Series. I could care less about the cause of war, that's always the same. Strategy and Technology are the deciding factors in any war. When it comes down to it. I spent a week in my room 'writing' it. I talk, the computer writes. Then the computer reads, and I edit. I took the final copy down to Dad, and said here's Volume 1. We had it published, followed by about 10 more in as many weeks; and suddenly, I was being referred to as an expert by people who didn't even have a clue. It seems that no one knew as much about war as I did. Soon I would show them I also knew all there was to know about defense weapons and security, the weaknesses and strengths of every imaginable security system in existance. I also had already designed the only impenetrable security system in existance. Most didn't realize that a security system was not just the mechanical aspects of protecting your home, it was the art of being able to escape, trapping the intruder inside, and unable to access any control panels. Mom kept taking messages from people on the news, the government I wanted nothing to do with, but colleges wanted me to teach classes, and all kinds of things were going on. I went on one News Program, and people thought it was a joke that I not even out of school, could have been the one holding the key to the future. I refused to talk about my own security developments, but quick to show them that I knew what I was talking about. The war that was in progress on Mars, I said, would be a failed attempt at revolution. The leaders did not know how to lead, and the followers didn't know how to fight. The government there was almost definately looking down at them and laughing. I heard the other guest begin to object to my statement, and I stopped him...I asked him if he had read an obscure book which was in circulation on Mars..his answer was no. I told him that this was the strategy of their revolution, and pulling the book out and setting it on the table, began to quote the book, I watched him pick it up, and in astonishment too. I also let them know how it was inevitable that the space station would be taken over, both in the past, and that it would happen again in the future.
