2417 (Aiden cont'd) At a loss for what to do. I called up Columbia University, and made a deal with them. I would bring in these kids, pay to build thier housing and tuition costs, and whatever else they needed to accomodate us. I would have a small staff to care for the kids, and two or three teachers. I would also teach one class per semester for 3 years, or more if I wanted. Once all was taken care of, I had found about 50 more students, and brought all of the kids to Columbia University. There was room there for 500 more kids, but I hadn't found them yet. Mom came once a month, and took them all to meet other artists, not like at museums or anything like that. She would take the kids to see where they worked, and the kids loved it. They were able to ask questions, and actually learn something that way. Not like reading a book, everything they wanted to know about, they just asked the artist him/herself. I spent all my time with these kids, they were great. I never expected to see Christina at the door, but there she was one day, and I was so stupid, I didn't even invite her in, I just stood there, my mouth hanging open, unable to find words. One of the kids brought her inside, giving me a strange look in the process. Kara showed Christina around the place. What my problem was I don't know, but I may have found one of my teachers...that was, if I could talk her into it.
