2398 Suddenly a women stepped in front of him and he crashed into her knocking her over and then finding himself on the sidewalk beside her. Brien had just helped her to stand and was brushing himself off when he noticed a couple standing together a block away. There was something in the way they held themselves that seemed familiar to him and so he moved in their direction. Half a block away he stopped, his knees buckling. He sat down hard on the concrete steps of a townhouse. The sunlight and breeze played in their hair, his light and hers dark, long and beautiful. It was like looking into the past. Sheridan looking young and gorgeous her face reflecting the love in her heart. The man was his son, Brian, not him this time. He managed to get to his feet and make himself leave. He was lost and didn't know where he was going, just what he was escaping. He wanted Dionne. Dionne to hold in his arms and she would make him forget.
