2391 Marijuana: I miss my car... It may be time to get a bike, at least it would be easier, without the cost of a car. I tried to go to work today, and my boss firmly informed me that I was not to be back for another week. I tried to explain that I needed the money, and she reminded me that she had given me a PAID vacation, and sent me on my way. I called Eagle, and told him that my boss wouldn't let me in the door til next week. I let him know that I'd be at the flea market if he wanted to join me.

I was searching for something interesting, I knew that I needed things, and I knew that I didn't like some of the things I had, I actually bought a wagon to carry all the stuff I found. There was an 18th century room divider, it appeared to be from China, and didn't look as though it had ever been touched. I found some dishes, which needed to be mix-matched, not a problem. I bought as much of the things I found as my wagon and arms were capable of carrying, and then I saw Eagle, he looked at me, and shook his head. I bought another wagon...and took Eagle on what seemed his first flea-market adventure. It was an experience. Then we took all of our purchases (mostly mine) back to my apartment.

I could see that he was pleased that I had taken some time to marijuanify the place... I told him that I had given mom her gift, but hadn't heard anything from her yet. I noticed that he was looking again at some of the pictures on my wall, and went over to him, 'You know when this one was taken?' It was the first time mom/Char and dad let me go on tour with them, and this was the night Po ditched me for Hennessey, I walked home. The twins 3rd birthday party...Socrates was afraid of the balloons, I told him that it wouldn't be a birthday party without them...I trailed off- I miss them. Then the timer dinged and I pulled dinner out before it had a chance to burn.

After we ate, and had taken time to relax together, I found the box which held my gift for Eagle, and pulled it from under the couch...I told him before he opened it, that he wasn't allowed to take it home with him. I wondered what he would think of it...and got a little nervous. When I looked closer, I realized that the man I was talking to was asleep, on the new pillows we just bought this afternoon. I washed the dishes, grabbed some blankets off the bed, lay down with Eagle, and went to sleep on the floor.

Morning came, and I woke up a little stiff from sleeping on the floor, Eagle must have been really worn out from yesterday. I made breakfast, fruit salad...this way he could eat when he woke, and not have to reheat anything. I went for a morning run, came back and took a shower, putting my new robe on. When I came out, Eagle had just woken up, I went over and sat next to him, good morning. Want some fruit salad?
