2390 After their haircut , Addison and his dad Mel went to lunch at Charlies. It was their way of keeping in touch . Addison also used this time to get a feeling for how his district felt about things.
Mel was talking about Sheri's last art showing. Addison felt himself getting defensive and before he knew it he was making excuses for not going again. He just couldn't stop himself. He has seen the pictures , some of them , along with a write up in the paper. He had felt afraid , yet drawn to them. Mel was saying that Laural, Addison's niece - more sister he felt. Had declared that she had indeed stepped into one (picture that is ) and right back out again. Laural had said that afterwards she had sat on one of the benches and cried her eyes out from the sorrow she experienced.
